The Setup
In June 2017, the Massachusetts Office of the State Auditor (OSA) released its study of the impact of the state’s healthcare cost-containment law, known as Chapter 224 of the Acts of 2012: An Act Improving the Quality of Health Care and Reducing Costs Through Increased Transparency, Efficiency and Innovation. This law was enacted with the goal of controlling health care spending growth while improving access and quality.
The Action
Vibrancy copy-edited the 250-page report and served as project manager for creative production. We also wrote a language style guide to ensure consistency among the many content contributors.
The Impact
The client reported “extremely positive” feedback from readers regarding the readability of such dense material, as well as requests for additional copies.
